Salamova Gulcahan

Salamova Gulcahan daughter of Ahmed was born on March 1, 1963 in Baku. In 1980 she graduated from secondary school No 82 in Narimanov district.  She also graduated from "Musical Comedy Acting” faculty of Azerbaijan State Institute of Art named after M.A Aliyev in 1988. Beginning from the same year she started working at Azerbaijan State Musical Comedy as a soloist-vocalist. She performed as "Aygun” at "Gold Wedding” by Oktay Kazimov, Ramiz Heydar, "Naznaz” at "Bride for 5 pounds” by Said Rustamov, Mammad Said Ordubadi, "Maleyka” at "Everyone’s own star”, by Suleyman Alasgarov, Isi Malikzadeh, "Sanubar” at "Aunt Masma is my uncle” by Ramiz Mustafayev, Javanshir Mammadov, "Khanum” at "Beggar son of millionaire Father”  by  S. Alasgarov, Sh.Gurbanov, "Hajar” at "Mother of Seven Prisoners” by J. Guliyev, A. Dolidze, A. Saqarelli. She also starred in "Holiday in Baghdad” film in 2000. The actress worked in "Bashir” theatre for a while. G. Salamova continues her carrier at Azerbaijan State Musical Comedy Theatre since 1988. She awarded with the title of "Honored Art Worker” medal by Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
