Ophelia Novruzgizi

Mammadova Ofelia daughter of Novruz was born on August 28, 1980, in Baku. She educated the Asaf Zeynallı Music School's piano department from 1995 to 1999.

From 2003 to 2007, she studied at the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, specializing in "Musical Theater Acting."

Between 1999 and 2000, she worked at the "Madmen Gathering" Pantomime Theater studio under the leadership of People's Artist Bakhtiyar Khani - Zadeh. From 2000 to 2006, she worked as a senior actress at the State Pantomime Theater.

She first appeared on stage in the play "Fly" in the role of Crane. She went on to create memorable characters in numerous theater productions and also took roles in television films. She hosted many state events, concerts, and international festivals.

The actress successfully participated in international theater festivals held in Georgia, Turkey, Ukraine, Tatarstan, and other countries.

Since 1999, she has been involved in dubbing thousands of foreign films, cartoons, and documentaries into Azerbaijani State Television's "Cinema and Dubbing" offices and other local television channels. She provided the Azeri voice for the character Nino in the film "Ali and Nino."

Since 2021, she has been an actress of the Azerbaijan State Academic Music Theater.

In the theater play " A breath" she played the role of Fulya Ozturk (written by S. Gulamov), Minnet Khanum in "Husband and wife" (U. Hajibayli), Simona in " A dedication to Paris Notre-Dame " (V. Hugo, S. Gulamov), Anakhanim in "The world belongs to those who love it" (E. Pahlavan), the commission chairman in "Bakhtiyar" (T. Guliyev), Adila in "Baladadash’s wedding bath" (Elçin, F. Allahverdiyev), and various characters in other plays like "Buratino" (A. Rubnikov, A. Tolstoy), "Sleeping Beauty and Dwarfs" (S. Perot), and "Magical Song" (Simurg - P. Korotic, D. Hajiyeva).
