Comedy "A day before the wedding" with the participation of Afag Bashirgiz

Join us at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater on May 5th at 19:00 for a wonderful evening featuring the comedy "A Day Before the Wedding" by the esteemed writer-playwright Ali Samadli. This captivating production stars the beloved master of laughter, People's Artist Afag Bashirgiz.

The founder director is Honored Art Worker Asgar Asgarov, this stage play boasts a stellar ensemble cast including People's Artist Afag Bashirgizi, Honored Artists Alakbar Aliyev and Azizaga Azizov, as well as actors Moyla Mirzaliyev, Alimammad Novruzov, Gultaj and Huseyn Alili, Rasmiyya Nurmammadova, Gulnara Azizova, Elkhan Ismayilov, Ruslan Mursalov, and Farid Rzayev. The performance will also feature the exceptional talents of the theater's choir and ballet artists.

Behind the scenes, founder artist is Honored artist Nabat Samadova, musical arranger is People's Artist Anvar Sadigov and original compositions by Emin Hasanov. The founder choreography are Honored artists Yelena Agayeva and Zakir Agayev and the assistant director Tamilla Aslanova.

In the play with an unexpected and interesting storyline, the death of an official one day before his son's wedding puts the "family" in a desperate situation. The fact that the lady of the house hides this issue from everyone makes things even more difficult. The woman thinks that if she does not cover up her husband's death, the wedding will be postponed and some of her financial interests will be affected. So, instead of dealing with the funeral, they continue with the wedding preparations and the real tragicomedy begins...
