Kamil Hasanov

Kamil (son of Sanan) Hasanov was born on August 1, 1996, in Imishli. In 2002, he started taking classes in the 15th music school named after Rauf Hajiyev, in the class of Honored Culture Worker Tamilla Mammadova. He has become a laureate of the Republic and International competitions on multiple occasions. In 2007, he won the international competition held in Baku and Crimea. In 2009, he became a laureate of the international competition of young pianists held in Tbilisi and the International competition of young pianists named "Solhi Al-Wadi" held in Damascus, the capital of Syria.

In September of 2010, he was included in the Golden Book of Young Talents of the Republic of Azerbaijan by the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and was awarded with the President's special scholarship.

In 2012, he won first place in the international competition of pianists held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. In addition to this, he has also become a laureate and winner of several national and international competitions. From 2013 to 2017, he studied at the Fortepiano faculty of the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibayli.

Since 2018, he has been working as a concertmaster at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theatre.
