Parviz Mammadrzayev

Parviz (son of Muzaffar) Mammadrzayev was born on February 13, 1971 in Baku. In 1977-1987, he studied at secondary school number 252.

In 1989-1994, he graduated with honors in directing at the "Director of Theater Group" department of the University of Culture and Arts (former Azerbaijan State Art Institute named after M.A. Aliyev). In 1993, he started working as an actor of the auxiliary staff at the Azerbaijan State Young Audience Theater and in a short time won the trust of the professional directors of the theater, People's Artist Vagif Asadov, Honored Artist Rafig Aliyev and others, and skillfully coped with the main roles assigned to him.

Since 1994, he has been working in the theater-studio "Crazy meeting" operating under the Azerbaijan State Young Audience Theater (the theater-studio received state status in 2000). Parviz Mammadrzayev, who has great talent, stage culture, and improvisation skills, has successfully performed in many performances during this period, confirming himself as a professional actor.

In 1998, P. Mammadrzayev studied at the master classes of the world-famous Georgian director Robert Sturua.

Together with the team of the theater, he participated in various festivals and seminars held in many countries around the world - Azerbaijan Culture Days in Russia, 1300th anniversary celebrations of "Dada Gorgud" epic in France, 4th and 6th Ankara Theater Festivals in Turkey, 1st International Pantomime and "Friendship" Theater Festivals in Iran, Egypt He represented Azerbaijan at the Experimental Theater Festival, "Summer Academy of Performing Arts" seminars in Bulgaria, "Theater+Video" festival and "Golden Mask" International Theater Festival in Georgia, "VIII - Unidrama" Festival in Germany and a number of other international events.

P. Mammadrzayev is the founder of "Simsar" theater-studio (2010), co-founder and artistic director of "Human" theater (2017).

In 2013-2016, he worked as a teacher of rhythm and plasticity in the studio of the Academic National Drama Theater and at the same time as an actor of that theater.

Since 2017, he has been working as an actor in the Azerbaijan State Musical Theater.

In 2001-2022, he also taught stage movement, stage combat, sword training, ballet directing, plastic arts and pantomime at the "Choreography Art and Stage Plastic" department at ADMIU, and acting at the "Musical Theater Actor" department.

On May 16, 2006, he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and on August 1, 2018, he was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Republic.

He has appeared in a number of films.

Closely cooperates with Azerbaijan State Pantomime Theater, Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theater, Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts.

He was as a character Jeyhun Hajibeyli in the play "Nuri-dide Jeyhun" (A. Amirli, directed by M. Alakbarzada) at the Azerbaijan State Musical Theater, Claude Frollo in "Paris Notre-Dame Dedication" (V. Hugo, directed by S. Gulamov), Claude Frollo in "Psyche" (staged by Ar-Togrul) played the role of Rustam Bey in “Psyche” and "If not that one then this one" (U. Hajibeyli).

He was the director of the play "Suitcase Mood" in the Inclusive theater-studio created under the theater, and also played a major role in preparing the amateur actors with physical limitations participating there for the stage
