Aydan Aliyeva

Aliyeva Aydan daughter of Abdulami was born in 1998 in Turkan Settlement, Khazar District, Baku.

2008-2013 studied at Mardakan Music School No. 17, majoring in Piano.

2013-2017 graduated from Asef Zeynalli Music College, majoring in Piano and Singing (teachers: Gulyaz, Gulyanag Mammadova, Alibaba Mammadov).

2017-2021 studied at the Baku Academy of Music, majoring in Composition, in the class of professor, composer Aydin Azimov and Arif Malikov.

2021-2023 studied at the Baku Academy of Music, Faculty of Composition, Master's degree (class of teacher Aydin Azimov).

In 2019, she wrote 2 pieces for Cello and Piano - Adagio-Scherso, and this work was awarded 3rd place at the Otar Taktavishvili International Music Competition held in Georgia.

In 2021, her work "String Quartet" was awarded the Grand Prix at the "Cantabile" International Competition held in Turkey.

In 2021, her novel "My Moon-Faced Nigar’ written to the ghazal of Nizami Ganjavi was awarded the first place and a diploma of the event.

The composer-performer has works in various genres.

In 2020, he composed a symphonic poem called "Garabagh Victory" (part 1 "March of Soldiers", part 2 "Capture of the Battle", part 3 "Morning of Shusha Jıdır Plain", part 4 "Battle and Victory") during the Karabakh War.

In 2023, she wrote a 4-part symphonic poem called "My God".

In 2023, her work "Elegy" for choir, chamber orchestra, and piano was performed in front of 400 mothers of martyrs at an event dedicated to martyrs at the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic.

Since 2016, she has been working as a choir artist at the Academic Musical Theater and participating in performances in the theater's repertoire.

She has about 50 songs.

Several of them have been performed by famous performers. "Beautiful Azerbaijan" (Honored Artist Lala Mammadova), "I was caught" (Rovshan Aziz), "Songs and You" (Nazperi Dostaliyeva & Nihat Melik), "Look at Me" - (Röya Aykhan, Aygul Arzum), "You Didn't Come" (Firuza Babayeva), "World" (Gülyaz Mammadova), "Memory" (Gülyanag Mammadova) and etc.

On November 24, 2024, he was elected a member of the Azerbaijan Composers' Union.
