The premiere mood of the Academic Musical Theater continues

On October 25, the second day of the premiere of the play “You Are the King”, written and directed by the famous director Alakbar Taghizadeh, was successfully held at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater.

This time, Presidential scholarship holder Atilla Mammadov (Elvin), Rauf Babayev (Elvis Presley), Elchin Ahadzadeh (Major Brown), Presidential Prize winner Mehriban Zaliyeva(Rosa), Aydan Hasanova (Marilyn), Subhan Rustamov (Steve), Mubariz Nagiyev (voice), as well as choir and ballet artists took to the stage.

It should be noted that the premiere of “You Are the King”, which began on October 24, will last until the 26th.

The musical, staged based on the immortal songs of the legendary singer and actor of the 20th century - the “king of rock and roll” Elvis Presley, was met with great interest and applause by the audience.

The musical director and production conductor of the stage production are Javad Taghizade, production designer Vusal Rahim, ballet master Kamila Aliyeva, choir master Honored Artist Vagif Mastanov, conductor Samad Suleymanli, concert master Presidential scholarship holder Kamil Hasanov, lighting designer Rafael Vagifoglu, and assistant directors Tamilla Aslanova and Polina Fyodorova.
