The premiere of the play "You Are the King" was greeted with applause

On October 24, the premiere of the play "You Are the King" prepared by the famous director Alakbar Taghizadeh and directed by him was held at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater.

The musical, staged based on the immortal songs of the legendary singer and actor of the 20th century - the "king of rock and roll" Elvis Presley, was met with great interest and applause by the audience.

The musical director and production conductor of the stage production are Javad Taghizadeh, production designer Vusal Rahim, ballet master Kamila Aliyeva, choir master Honored Artist Vagif Mastanov, conductor Samad Suleymanli, concert master Presidential pensioner Kamil Hasanov, lighting designer Rafael Vagifoglu, and assistant directors are Tamilla Aslanova and Polina Fyodorova.

The first performance of the play was attended by Honored Artist Ilham Nazarov (Elvin), actors Rauf Babayev (Elvis Presley), Leonid Klets (Major Brown), Olga Georgieva (Rosa), Aydan Hasanova (Marilyn), Subhan Rustamov (Steve), Mubariz Nagiyev (voice), as well as choir and ballet artists.
