The Academic Musical Theater will commemorate the victims of Khojaly

Two performances will be staged at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater on the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the Khojaly genocide.

On February 26, at 19:00, the monoplay "I Believe" by young writer-playwright Ulviyya Heydarova (founding director Leonid Klets) will be performed on the theater's stage, and this performance will also be broadcast live on the "Culture" channel.

In the psychological drama, the image of a lonely martyr mother who lost her son in the war is played by People's Artist of the Order of "Glory" Shukufa Yusupova.

The production designer of the production is Vusal Rahim, the music designer and sound director is Mahammad Mammadov, the videographer is Murad Hasanov, and the assistant director is Zaur Aliyev.

On February 28, at 12:00, the collective will present the performance "For One Breath".

The author and director of this stage play dedicated to our Victory Chronicle is Samir Gulamov.

The performance, based on the music of People's Artist of the USSR Fikret Amirov, also uses piano music by young pianist Kamil Hasanov.

The author of the idea and artistic director of the stage play, Honored Art Worker, Doctor of Philosophy in Art History Aligismat Lalayev, is the stage conductor and music designer of the stage play, Honored Art Worker Fakhraddin Atayev, production designer Vusal Rahim, production ballet master Honored Artist Leyla Agayeva, concertmaster Kamil Hasanov, assistant directors Sevinj Mammadova and Amrah Dadashov.

The performance will feature Honored Artist Nahida Orujova, Presidential Prize winners Samadzade Khasiyev, Huseyn Alili, actors Gulnara Abdullayeva, Guljahan Salamova, Amrah Dadashov, Ibrahim Alizadeh, Ofelia Novruzgizi, Ali Karimov, Murad Aliyev, and ballet artist Irana Karimova.
