The 110-year-old play *Husband and Wife* will displayed at Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater this weekend

On December 21, at 19:00 in the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater will be demonstrated the immortal masterpiece of Uzeyir Hajibayli, the first musical operetta - "Husband and wife."

It has an essential place in the history of Azerbaijani culture. It established a foundation (1910) for further development of musical theater in our country. More than a century, this play has been appreciated with great interest, enthusiasm by spectators and exhibited not only in our country also beyond its borders.

The chief director of the performance which will be played for 80th times (16.10.2010) is Yusif Akbarov; directing conductor is Honored Art Figure Nazim Hajialibayov; the conductor is Honored Art Figure Fakhraddin Atayev; the painter is honored artist Eldar Gurbanov; the choreographers are honored artistes Zakir Aghayev and Yelena Aghayeva; the concertmaster is Fidan Babayeva; the choirmaster is Honored artist Vagif Mastanov, the director assistant is Tamilla Aslanova. In the roles People's actress Fatma Mahmudova; Honored artists: Alakbar Aliyev, Nahida Orujova, Rasmiyya Nurmammadova, Elkhan Ismayilov, Aghakhan Sharifov; actors: Moyla Mirzaliyev, Alimammad Novruzov, Farid Rzayev, and Ruslan Mursalov will perform.
