Aligismet Lalayev is going to attend Iranian Theater Exhibition as part of 38th Fajr International Theater Festival

Director of Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater, Honored Artist, Doctor of Philosophy Aligismat Lalayev, has been invited by the organizers of the 38th International Fajr Theater Festival to be held in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to the press service of the Academic Musical Theater, the famous director and theatrical artist, who is a jury member of many different international theater and music festivals, will visit the neighboring country on February 1-7, 2020, to attend the exhibition.

"I think this invitation is a tribute to the Azerbaijani theater, as a whole, an expression of love and interest in our theater and art led by organizers of the world-renowned International Fajr Theater Festival. Earlier, I participated in Fajr festivals, both as an expert and with the team of theater I manage. The participants welcomed the projects we have always shown. The program for this year's exhibition also shows that the festival in Iran will be a spectacular cultural event. The festival will create an opportunity for renowned directors from all around the world to inform prominent theater professionals about their projects. "Watching Mass Performances," "Conditions for Product Promotion," "Theater Performance Analysis," Round tables, meetings, discussions, and performances of various genres will be held. I will report not only about Academic Musical Theater, but also about the future, and future development of theatrical art in Azerbaijan, as well as plans. I am confident that such meetings and experience exchange is essential for the development of intercultural cooperation," Lalayev said while announcing plans for the visit.
