The premiere of the play "My Mother's Book" became successful

Audience met the premiere of the new project of the Ministry of Culture - “My Mother’s Book”, which was performed at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater for two days in a row, very well.

Minister of Culture Anar Karimov, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, Head of the Department of Humanitarian Policy, Diaspora, Multiculturalism and Religious Affairs of the Presidential Administration Farah Aliyeva, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malayka Abbaszadeh, as well as ambassadors of our country, as well as well-known theater figures and artists watched. The premiere was met with great interest.

It should be noted that Jalil Mammadguluzadeh, one of the classic examples of Azerbaijani drama, bases the play on “My Mother’s Book”. Actors from different theaters of our country shared the same stage in the play created in English because of the work of a new and modern director.

After the premiere, the official guests, also other artists had a backstage meeting with the creative team and shared their good impressions with them.

The production director of the play is Irada Gozalova, the translator is Tarlan Rasulov, the production designer is Vusal Rahim, and the video installer is Murad Hasanov.

  The arrangement of battle scenes and dances belongs to People's Artist Parviz Mammadrzayev and director Zaur Aliyev.

We want to add, the stage play, which was shown in English for the first time in the history of the Musical Theater will be shown again on November 11 by request of the audience.
