A new Chief Choreographer appointed to the Academic Musical Theater
By the relevant order of the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Anar Karimov, the founding choreographer of the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater, choreographer, Honored Artist Emin Aliyev has been appointed chief choreographer of the staff. Emin Aliyev thanked the Minister of Culture for the trust shown to him: “I thank Minister Anar Karimov for the trust shown to me. I promise that I will justify this confidence with great responsibility and will spare no effort together with the members of the theater's ballet troupe. Today I feel very happy as a member of the Academic Musical Theater family. I thank everyone who is happy with my success. "
Emin, son of Eldar Aliyev was born on May 5, 1978 in the city of Baku. He graduated the Baku Academy of Choreography (1990-2001). From 1996 to 2015, he was a soloist of the Azerbaijan State Dance Ensemble. In 2004, he became knownfor his portrayal of “Nuri” in People's Artist Polad Bulbuloglu's ballet “Love and Death”, which he performed at various cultural centers in Azerbaijan and at the Bolshoi Theater in Russia, at the Marinsky Theater in St. Petersburg. In 2004-2006, he was invited to the Turkish dance ensembles "Anatolian Fire" and in 2017 "Royal", where he worked for some time, organized various dance and ballet performances.
He has participated in international events in more than 50 countries. In 2008, he was awarded the honorary title of "Honored Artist" by the order of the President. Since 2012, as a talented dancer and choreographer, he has successfully performed ballet compositions in various cities of Russia as part of various cultural events and festivals, and has given master classes in various cities of our country and around the world. In connection with the 90th anniversary of the Academy of Choreography, the maestro staged the ballet performance "Drop from the Sea" based on the symphonic mugham "Rast" by Niyazi and the epos "Kitabi-Dada Gorgud".
Emin Aliyev was hired as a ballet dancer at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater in 2019. In July of the same year, he successfully performed at the traditional "Dada Gorgud" festival in Bayburt, Turkey, together with the creative staff of the Academic Musical Theater.
Soloist of the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater, laureate of international festivals, Honored Artist Emin Aliyev was awarded the "Shams" National Prize established by "Imedia Group" for the promo video "Nasimi". He participates as a soloist in the play "Paris Notre Dame Dedication" (V. Hugo, directed by S. Gulamov).
The brilliant victories of our glorious army on the battlefield also contributed to the creativity of Emin Aliyev. Both television viewers and social media viewers met the “Victorious Soldier” project, of which he is the founding choreographer and performer, with interest. In addition, E. Aliyev is the choreographer and performer of the composition "Yellow Bride". Emin Aliyev was a choreographer of the ballet composition "Nizami - 880" dedicated to the Year of Nizami by the Academic Musical Theater and a participant of the image of Nizami Ganjavi. By the relevant order of the Ministry of Culture, the honored artist was awarded the commemorative badge "880th anniversary of Nizami Ganjavi (1141 - 2021)" for his creative contribution to Nizami's legacy.
