Honored artist Alakbar Aliyev will celebrate his anniversary with his audience

The immortal work of the great composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli, the first operetta of the East - the musical comedy "Husband and Spouse" will be performed on April 16 at 19:00 at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater.

The play, which has an important place in the history of Azerbaijani culture and has been in the repertoire since its first staging (since 1910).This time the play will be presented on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the famous actor of the Academic Musical Theater, Honored Artist Alakbar Aliyev.

 

Before the performance, the deputy director of the theater, Doctor of Philosophy in Art History Vafa Muhajirova will speak and talk about the work of the beloved actor. Alakbar Aliyev will play the role of Marjan Bey in this play. People's Artist Fatma Mahmudova, Honored Artist Nahida Orujova, actors Moyla Mirzaliyev, Rasmiyya Nurmammadova, Elkhan Ismayilov, Huseyn Alili, Alimammad Novruzov, Ruslan Mursalov, Farid Rzayev, Nigar Garayeva and others will share the same stage with the jubilee.

 

Aliyev Alakbar- son of Hasan was born on April 15, 1957. In 1980, he graduated from the Azerbaijan State Institute of Arts named after MA Aliyev (now the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts), "Musical Comedy Actor" faculty, and in the same year began working at the Musical Comedy Theater (now the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater).

A.Aliyev created a series of interesting images during his work and  won the sympathy of the audience with his beautiful voice and high stage culture.

 

The actor, who has repeatedly been awarded the Presidential Prize, has been awarded the honorary title of "Honored Artist" since 2013.

By the way, the performance of the Musical Theater- "Husband and Spouse" successfully  represented the theatrical art of our country in the Days of Azerbaijani Culture in Iran in 2017. The play was awarded at the 35th Fajr International Theater Festival in Tabriz.
