Well-known actress Lutviya Safarova's memory was remembered at the Academic Musical Theater

Uzeyir Hajibeyli's play "If not that one then this one" was once again shown at the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater. The presentation of the play is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of actress Lutviya Safarova, who worked at the Academic Musical Theater for many years.
The play, directed by People's Artist Jannat Salimova, stars Honored Artists Shovgi Huseynov, Azizaga Azizov, Nahida Orujova, Alakbar Aliyev, Nadir Khasiyev, actors Elkhan Ismayilov, Alimammad Novruzov, Huseyn Alili, Gultaj Alili, Shaban Jafarov, Farid Rzayev, Elmaddin Dadashov, Aliyeva, Murad Aliyev, Jabrayil Jabrailov, Ali Karimov, Rustam Rustamov, young actors Rahib and Nuray Mammadzade. It should be noted that Lutviya Safarova played the role of Gulnaz and Sanam in the musical comedy "If not that one then this one"in different years.
Lutviya Safarova – daughter of Shamil was born on March 11, 1942 in an academic family. After graduating from the vocal department of the Baku Music School named after Asaf Zeynalli, she was invited to the Musical Comedy Theater (former name of the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater).
From the very first days, the actress was known for her unique style of performance. She played the role of Charleston in the comedy "Hijran", Leyla in "Rejoice", Lala in "We Know", Khurshud in "Mammadali goes to the resort", Nazik in "Looking for a happy girl", Chichek in "Our house, our secret", Nazli in "Grandma's royal bird", Asya in "Arshin mal alan", Neighbor girl in "Millionaire's beggar son", Gulnar in "It didn't happenlike this, it happened in this", Jeyran in "Banker's fiancé". She created a gallery of colorful images in "Lover in Volga", Gamarkhanum in "Cheerful Heart" and other performances.
From 1989 to 1996, she worked at the Baku Municipal Theater "Criticism-Propaganda", and then returned to her former place of work, gaining the sympathy of the audience with their interesting roles.
The actress, who has also starred in many television shows and films, last appeared on stage in 2006 as Natella in “Jealous Hearts”.
Safarova died on March 1, 2010. Rest in peace.
