The Academic Musical Theater has prepared various videos on March 31 - the Day of the Genocide of Azerbaijanis
March 31 - Employees of the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater - Samir Gulamov, Ar-Togrul Kamalov, Anar Babali, and Zaur Aliyev participated in the project dedicated to the memory of the victims of the tragedy "Let's not forget!” The author of the idea and artistic director of the project is the director of the Academic Musical Theater, Honored Art Worker, Doctor of Philosophy in Art History Aligismat Lalayev. The aim is once again to draw attention to the atrocities committed by the Bolsheviks and Armenian-Dashnak terrorist groups against our compatriots in various regions of Baku province, as well as in other parts of the country in March-April 1918. The film "Sondu", written and directed by Samir Gulamov, is a short short length film about the March genocide. The main producer of the film, shot in Gobustan region, is Ulvi Jafarov, composer Ali Aliyev, cinematographer and Editor Hikmat Shahverdizade. The translation of the text from Armenian belongs to Israfil Khudaverdiyev.
"Although the film is about a tragedy in a specific village, in general, it shows the tragedies that befell our country at that time. I would also like to emphasize that Sundu is the only village in Azerbaijan with 32 cemeteries ... For 70 years, the Soviet government tried to erase our people's blood memory and forbid them to speak about genocide, but failed. "On the basis of the decree signed by our national leader Haydar Aliyev on March 26, 1998, these terrible events were given a political and legal assessment, and March 31 was declared as "Azerbaijani Genocide Day "..." Gulamov said in a statement about the film”.
I should note that Honored Artist Nadir Khasiyev, actors - Emil Heydarov, Guljahan Salamova, Samad Khasiyev, Amrah Dadashov, Rauf Babayev, Nijat Ali, Gultaj Alili, Valeria Iskanderzade, Shaban Jafarov, Ibrahim Alizade, Emin Zeynalli, Banovsha Allahverdiyeva Aliyeva, Farid Muradoglu, Hidayat Aliyev, Ruslan Mursalov, Ayan Gurbanova, Muhammed and Ali Gulamov took part in the roles in the film.
The footage in Ar-Togrul Kamalov's "Massacre" video also reveals the true faces of our hated enemies, and their barbarism is emphasized by real facts. The main producer of this video is Ulvi Jafarov, the editor is Kanan Mukhtarov, the camera operator is Shahmar Safaroglu, and Honored Artist Igrar Salamov actors Elchin Imanov, Gulnara Abdullayeva, Zaur Aliyev, Rahib Mammadzade, and Aydan Hasanova perform a role.
Anar Babali's video "March 31 - Bloody History" explores the historical roots of the tragedy through the eyes of modern youth. Elchin Hajiyev voiced the text of the video shot by the young actor of the theater Hidayat Aliyev. The operator is Afgan Alasov.
The video prepared by Zaur Aliyev analyzes the different atmosphere between the world theaters and the repertoire of Azerbaijani theaters on March 31 - the Day of the Genocide of Azerbaijanis. The actor of the Academic Musical Theater Amrah Dadashov performed the video.
"All these successful works of the theater after our great victory are part of large-scale projects to be implemented in the near future," said the head of the project Aligismat Lalayev. Let us return to our normal working conditions. We have a lot to say to our audience. We believe that there is not left much for that day. The days when our curtains will open are very close. ”
