New project from the Academic Musical Theater: "Yellow Bride"

Through the pandemic period that shocked, the world was difficult for everyone, but the creative team of the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater is signing new projects inspired by our historic victory. This time, the creative staff of the theater presented a ballet composition based on the folk song "Yellow Bride" performed by a world-famous musician, composer Sami Yusuf, reflecting national values online to a wide audience. The author and artistic director of the project is the director of the theater, Honored Art Figure, Doctor of Philosophy in Art History Aligismat Lalayev, the choreographer is Honored Artist Emin Aliyev, the director is Samir Gulamov, the cameraman and editor are Hikmat Shahverdizade. Honored Artist Emin Aliyev, also the performer of the ballet composition, revealed some interesting facts about the project: "The goal of this project, which is being implemented under the guidance of Mr. Aligismat, is clear to all of us. The fact that the composition was first performed in English and then in our native language is very important in this regard, and its presence in the language of dance will be of great interest to a wide audience.” Until now, this magnificent music, which has been presented to a wide audience as the dance of one person - the Yellow Bride, has never been performed as a duet by dancers. This is the first time! We have tried to preserve all the subtleties of our national dances together with our talented ballet dancer Malakkhanim Safarova to adapt all our gestures and dance moves to the words of the song ... I hope that the promotion of our national dances in this format will succeed. The English version of the song also serves this purpose.
