March 10th - Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theatre congratulated theatre lovers on the 148th anniversary of the Azerbaijan National Theater not on the magical stage, but through social networks. The video presented by the theater shows the famous faces of the Azerbaijani theater, which has a rich history during a century and a half. Under the sounds of the song "I am an actor" (lyrics: V.Aziz) by composer-singer, Honored Artist Elza Seyidjahan, actors’ glorious and very difficult life is read line by line, page by page, re-engraved in the memory of time. The director of the Academic Musical Theater Samir Gulamov and the director of photography and editor of the theater Hikmat Shahverdizade prepared the composition. The author of the idea of the project, director of the Academic Musical Theater, Honored Art Worker, Doctor of Philosophy in Art Criticism Aligismat Lalayev explained the reasons why theatergoers are greeted in a different place and in a different way this time. "The unexpected tragedy that has engulfed the world for a year has not passed unnoticed in the theaters. Azerbaijan Theater is going through a very difficult period. We are separated from our favorite scene. Despite all these, we are looking forward to the day when everything will return to normal. We have been operating online for a year, and on weekends, our performances are shown on our official social network accounts. Let us admit that we miss our audience very much. No matter how hard we try to meet the requirements of modern technology, nothing replaces live communication, our living art. Inspired by our success in the Great Patriotic War, we also made short films and are still continuing our projects. Theater is a collective art, the fruit of solidarity and hard work. In this video, we look at the history of theater in Azerbaijan in general. Although we have not yet been able to meet our favorite audiences in our theaters, we congratulate them on the occasion of the National Theater Day and say "See you soon!" - We say.
