The first meeting with participants of "Inclusive Theater" was hold in Academic Musical Theater
The Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater hosted the first meeting of the theater management with the "Inclusive Theater" project's participators of children and adults with hearing impairments selected through online casting for UNESCO-approved plan.
The director of the Azerbaijan State Academic Musical Theater, Honored Art Figure, Doctor of Philosophy in Art Criticism Aligismat Lalayev opened the meeting, gave detailed information about the studio named "Creative studio” created for "Inclusive Theater", and spoke about the tasks ahead, also wished success to the creative crew.
Then he conveyed People's Artist Shafiga Mammadova's greetings who is the artistic director of the theater studio, prominent theater figure, and film actress. Rajab Mammadov, chief producer of the project, coordinator of the theater's international projects, doctor of philosophy in art history, well-known actor; People's Artist Parviz Mammadrzayev, Honored Art Worker; director Asgar Asgarov also shared their views about "Inclusive Theater".
Among the young people which selected to participate in the "Inclusive Theater" project, Mahmud Safarov whom known as the founder of the "Silent World" sign language support group for disabled people and athletes, video blogger, viner, author of various educational social videos, and chairman of the public association Aida Safarova expressed their gratitude for this essential work on behalf of the project participants. For information, I want to mention that mostly the members of this association participate in this project.
The actor of the Baku Children and Youth Theater, well-known illusionist Tofig Isgandarli also shared his impressions about project and wished success to the creative team, reminding them that they will be closely involved in this humane and beautiful project and will spare no effort.
I want to remind that the meetings and training will be conducted mainly online, with the staff of the "Inclusive Theater" project, which runs under the management as part of the "Creative Studio" of the theater, following the rules required by the pandemic.
